Stephanie Hutchings

Stephanie Lee Hutchings, the daughter of Francis “Bud” Eugene and Anneva Maxine (Shepherd) Hethcote, was born April 24, 1948, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  Stephanie entered eternal rest Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at EveryStep Hospice House, Creston, Iowa, at the age of seventy-one years.
Stephanie lived in Council Bluffs and Cedar Rapids, and moved to Prescott, Iowa in kindergarten where she attended school and graduated in 1966.  She married Terry M. Hutchings on May 21, 1966, in Prescott, Iowa.  Terry and Stephanie were blessed with one son: Kirk M. Hutchings.  Stephanie attended Iowa Western Community College, Atlantic Center, and received her LPN in 1982.  She worked as a long term care nurse for over twenty-five years.
Stephanie enjoyed watching sporting events; particularly when Terry was coaching or Kirk playing; loved reading and cooking.  Family was most important to her and she dearly treasured her grandchildren: Daedric, Anneva and Kane.
Left to cherish Stephanie’s memory are her son: Kirk Hutchings, Greenfield, Iowa; sister-in-law: Sandra Heaton and brother-in-law: Craig Hutchings, both of Creston, Iowa.
Stephanie was preceded in death by husband Terry Hutchings; her parents; her father-in law and mother-in-law: Garland and Loretta Hutchings; her sister and brother-in-law: Fran and Vern Hoskinson.
