Susan Eyberg

October 20, 1952 — August 22, 2011

Susan Paula Eyberg, the daughter of Emil “Doc” and June (Bradley) Orth, was born on October 20, 1952, at Gary, Indiana. Susan entered eternal rest on August 22, 2011, at Greater Regional Hospice Home, Creston, Iowa, at the age of fifty-eight years, ten months, two days.
Susan lived in Creston all of her life. She graduated from Creston High School with the Class of 1970 and attended Southwestern Community College for one year taking business courses.
On August 7, 1971, Susan married Stephen Charles Eyberg at Creston, Iowa. Susan was a homemaker and a soccer mom when her children were younger. She was very active in her childrens lives. After her children left home, she worked for Rods Hallmark, Palms Clothing, Wolfes Jewelry, Stage Clothing and Kraft Foods.
Susan served on the Hospital Auxiliary and was Past President of the Lincoln School PTO Board of Directors. She was Past President of the Board of Directors for First Church of Christ, Scientist of Creston, where she also served as Past Sunday School Superintendent.
Left to cherish Susans memory are her husband, Steve Eyberg, Creston; her son, Bryan (wife Lorrie) Eyberg, Framingham, MA; her daughter, Kristin (husband Bill) Fleisher, Lincoln, NE; her mother, June Orth, Creston; her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Kathleen and Gene Eyberg, Atlantic, IA; Three Grandchildren: Lewis Fleisher, Brendan (wife Tony) Fleisher; and Ethan Fleisher; One Great-Granddaughter: Kassaty Fleisher; Three Brothers-in-law; Six Sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Preceding Susan in death was her father, Emil “Doc” Orth, and her grandparents.
