Vicki Ludwig

Vicki Lynne Ludwig, the daughter of Albert Lee and Carolyn Mae (Nissen) Dady, was born on June 4, 1954 in Creston, Iowa. Vicki entered eternal rest on December 27, 2013 at Creston Nursing and Rehab Center, Creston at the age of fifty-nine years, six months and twenty days.
Vicki graduated from Afton High School with the Class of 1972. She received her CNA/CMA certification from Southwestern Community College. Vicki worked as a CNA and CMA for thirty-two years. She worked at Crest Haven Care Center and she worked two years as Direct Care Staff at S.I.R.F. Vicki volunteered for CARE in Afton for several years. Vicki was an active member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary where she served on the board, including serving as the Board President.
Left to cherish Vicki’s passing is her daughter, Misty (husband Chris) Claybaker, Creston; three grandchildren, Johnathen, Karalynn and Andrew Claybaker; her brother, Randy Dady and special friend, Kim Coe, Greenfield; her adopted daughter, Christy Giles, Thayer; her cousins: Alan Blazek, Andy Blazek, Velma Blazek and Will Blazek, all of Fontanelle; her niece, Michelle Laird, Creston; and her best friend, Elsie Creveling.
Preceding Vicki in death were her parents; her grandson, Ayden James Claybaker; and her cousins, William and Alice Blazek.
