Violet I. Bradley

Violet Irene Bradley, the daughter of William J. and Effie Irene (James) Fulton, was born on January 12, 1916, near Orient, in Adair County, Iowa. Violet entered eternal rest on February 18, 2009, at Greater Regional Medical Center, Creston, Iowa, at the age of ninety-three years, one month and seven days.
Violet graduated from Orient High School with the Class of 1933. She married Ralph “Tim” Clifford Bradley and one son was born to bless this union. Vye worked as a seamstress and a bookkeeper for the Orient Lumber Yard for many years. She has lived in Creston since 1979. Vye lived and worked at Larkin Funeral Home and retired in 1985.
Vye was a member of Gingham Gals of Orient; We Neighbor Gals; and Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed attending the Creston Meal Site.
Left to cherish Vyes memory is her son: Dick (wife JoAnn Larkin) Bradley, Creston; Three Grandchildren: Steven (wife Judy) Bradley, Creston; Susan Bradley, Creston; Brenda (husband Jason) Parks, Houston, TX; Three Great-Grandchildren: Lori, Eric and Tim Bradley; and One Step-Great-Grandchild: J. J. Parks, Houston, TX; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Preceding Vye in death were her Parents; Husband, Tim on February 22, 1978; Two Brothers (twins): Albert and Alvin Fulton; and Four Sisters: Hazel Allen, Pearl Ramsbottom; Freda Eatinger; and Lena Fulton.
