Wilford Mills

Wilford Mills, the son of Lillie (Houghton) Mills and Joseph H. Mills was born November 2, 1919 in Jameson, Missouri. Wilford entered eternal rest on January 14, 2006 at Lenox Care Center at the age of eighty-six years, two months, and fifteen days.
On June 22, 1941, in Jameson, Missouri, Wilford Mills and Wilma Grace Whitt were united in marriage, to this union two daughters were born: Karen and Phyllis.
Wilford was a farmer, farming most of his life in the Jameson, Missouri area. He was a charter member of the Lions Club in Jameson, Missouri and a member of the Christian Church of Gallatin, Missouri.
Wilford was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to mourn Wilfords passing are his wife: Wilma Mills of Lenox, Iowa; daughters: Karen Shawler of Lenox, Iowa and Phyllis (husband Bill) Combs of Morrisville, North Carolina; four grandchildren: Todd (Crystal) Shawler, Carlisle, Iowa; Lisa (Dane) Parrish, Des Moines, Iowa; Amy (Rich) Combs-Lane, Morgantown, West Virginia; Jason (Amy) Combs, Greensboro, North Carolina; two great-grandchildren: Morgan Lane, Morgantown, West Virginia and Garrett Lane, Morgantown, West Virginia.
