William John Bowen

William “Bill” John Bowen, the son of Edward LeRoy and Geneva Mary (Suchy) Bowen, was born on September 18, 1962, in Greenfield, Iowa. Bill entered eternal rest on August 29, 2013, at Greater Regional Medical Center, Creston, Iowa, at the age of fifty years.
Bill grew up in the Greenfield and Cumberland area. Bill and his mother moved to Creston in 1972 after the death of his father. Bill worked in Creston doing lawn mowing and odd jobs. In 2006, he went to work for Kevin DeBoer, helping to remodel homes and roofing.
Left to cherish Bill’s memory are his cousins: Greg Suchy, Davis City, IA; Bonnie Ryason, Virginia; Robin Brooks, Fairbanks, Alaska; and Ron Ryason, Lake Carmel, New York; and his friends: Kevin DeBoer and family; Delbert Brown; and Sonja Oglesbee, all of Creston.
Bill was preceded in death by his father in 1972; his mother in 2005; his twin brother and sister in 1956; his Aunt Louise Ryason in 2009; and his Uncle William Suchy.
