There will be no public viewing. Inurnment will be at the Graceland Cemetery with Military Honors by Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard and Theodore J. Martens VFW Post #1797. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
William “Bill” Robert Loudon, the son of Thomas Edward and Barbara Lea (Baker) Loudon, was born on January 6, 1963, in Creston, Iowa. Bill entered eternal rest on July 22, 2009, at Alegent Health Mercy Hospital, Corning, Iowa, at the age of forty-six.
Bill attended Creston Public Schools and graduated from Creston High School with the Class of 1981. He served in the United States Air Force from 1982 until 1986. On September 13, 1997, he married Debbie Marie Rulla in Creston, Iowa.
Bill lived in Creston most of his life, except for his time in the military. He has lived in Corning since November, 2000. Bill worked for UARCO in Corning for several years. Bill worked for Burlington Northern Railroad as an Engineer for the last fifteen years.
Bill was a member of the Brotherhood of Local Engineers and Trainmen, Division 642. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. He collected John Wayne and Railroad memorabilia.
Left to cherish Bills memory is his wife: Debbie Loudon, Corning; his brothers: Brian (wife June) Loudon, Platte City, MO; Pat (wife Korina) Loudon, Creston; Tim (wife Nancy) Loudon, Creston; Joe Loudon, Platt City, MO; his sister: Kathy (husband Mike) Buchanan, Diagonal, Iowa; his Mother-in-Law: Linda Rulla, Corning; his Father-in-Law: Butch Rulla (wife Marion), Blaine, MN; Two Sisters-in-Law: Sarah (husband Joseph) Kemball, Missouri Valley, IA; and Sheila Ackerman, Gainsville, FL; one Brother-in-Law: Terry (wife Anke) Rulla , Colorado; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Preceding Bill in death were his parents: Thomas E. and Barbara (Baker) Loudon.
