Betty L. Thomas

Betty Lee Thomas, the daughter of Ernest and Sarah (Hamilton) Baker, was born on April 8, 1927, in St. Joseph, Missouri. Betty entered eternal rest on February 28, 2011, at the Greater Regional Medical Center, in Creston, Iowa, at the age of eighty-three years.
Betty graduated from Lafayette High School in St. Joseph. On October 12, 1946, she married Irvin Rue Thomas at Troy, Kansas. They lived in Missouri, California, Florida and Illinois before moving to Creston, Iowa in 1973. Betty worked for the Creston Hospital for several years. She also worked at the General Telephone Company as a clerk for several years and retired about 1983.
Left to cherish Bettys memory are her sons: James Thomas, Price, Utah; and Richard Thomas, Goldsboro, North Carolina; and her sister: Thelma McCulloch, Preston, Idaho.
Preceding Betty in death were her parents; her husband, on March 21, 1978; her daughter, Nancy Kellerman; her daughter-in-law, Lydia Thomas; and her brother-in-law, Ralph McCulloch.
