Charles “Chuck” Clark, III, 43, of Creston passed away Sunday, December 18, 2016 at his home in Creston. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 A.M., Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Open Bible Church, Winfield, Iowa. Pastor Asher Smale will officiate. Inurnment will be at the Winfield Scott Cemetery, Winfield, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family, for his children. Pearson Family Funeral Service Cremation Center, 809 W. Charles “Chuck” Gerard Clark, III, the son of Charles Gerard Clark, Jr. and Patricia Louise (Heinzel) Clark, was born October 20, 1973 in Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland. Chuck began working at age 14 at a local restaurant in Winfield, Iowa. Chuck also babysat for family friends. He then worked construction and worked for Blue Bird, assembling school buses. As a boy, Chuck was a member of the Cub Scouts and participated in Church Youth Group. He participated in football and baseball while in school. His hobbies included fishing.
Left to cherish Chuck’s memory are his children: Kaitlynn of Muscatine, IA; MaCayla of Grandview, IA; Stavros of Winfield, IA; and Savannah of New London, IA; his granddaughter, Allison of Muscatine; his parents: Charles and Patricia Clark, Winfield, IA; his sister, Jeannie (Clint) Jaeger, Keota, IA; his brother, Danny Clark, West Virginia; his Grandfathers: James Heinzel, West Burlington, IA; and Charles Clark, Akron, OH; his nieces: Julie, Carly, Claire, all of Keota, IA; his nephew, Cason; and several Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Preceding Chuck in death were his Grandmothers: Jean Heinzel and Loretta Adams-Clark; his Step-Grandmother: Betty Clark; Three Uncles: Bobby, Frank, and L.J. Clark, and his Great-Grandparents.
