Chris Moore

Christopher John Moore, the only son of Joann Kathleen (Purdum) Moore and John D. Moore, was born on April 21, 1988 in Creston, Iowa. Chris entered eternal rest on September 11, 2014 at Creighton University Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska at the age of twenty-six years.
Chris attended Creston Public Schools and received his degree in 2006. Chris was a helicopter pilot with extensive ratings. He became a private pilot on November 12, 2007; an Instrument Pilot on December 4, 2008; a Commercial Pilot on December 12, 2008 and a Flight Instructor on July 28, 2009. Chris also worked world-wide tuning and consulting on high performance auto vehicles. He was a Certified Tuner on multiple engine management platforms.
Left to cherish Chris’ memory are his mother, Joann Moore, Creston; his father, John D. Moore, Chandler, AZ; his sister, Erica Moore, Los Angeles, CA; his aunts and uncles: Yvonne (Jon) Alsip, Des Moines, IA; Ronda Moore, Ames, IA; Dennis (Connie) Purdum, Creston; Danny (Cheryl) Purdum, Creston; his cousins: Anne (Tony) Clem; Jason (Stephanie) Purdum; Rebecca (Justin) Papian; Cody (Cali) Purdum; and Casey (Jenny) Purdum; and special friend, Stephani Brown, Creston.
Preceding Chris in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents: Raymond and Deloris Purdum and DeRonda and Anne Moore.
