Denise Quimby, 67, passed away Sunday, March 31, 2024 at her home in Corning.  No services are currently planned.  Memories and on-line condolences may be shared at www.pearsonfuneralhomes.com.

Denise Jo Quimby, the daughter of David Lee and Nadine (Abernathy) Quimby was born July 4, 1956 in Vinton, Iowa.  She graduated from high school in Fondulac, Wisconsin with the Class of 1974.  Denise previously worked at Acme Markets but has worked for Kum N Go in Stuart, Iowa for the last seven years.  Denise met her significate other, Bill Sparks in November, 2016, in Corning, Iowa.  Denise was an avid reader with many additional interests including a love for sewing and mending clothes.  She was very creative in making decorations.  She was always making jokes, therefore there was never a “dull” moment.  She loved dancing and loved animals.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her significant other, Bill Sparks of Creston, Iowa; children: daughter, Nicole (Carl) Glendinning of Des Moines, Iowa, son, Jason Quimby, and daughter, Jamie Bartelt of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers: Dale (Jenny) Quimby, of Fondulac, Wisconsin, Davey (Sandy) Quimby, of Fondulac, Wisconsin, Dennis Quimby, Wisconsin; sisters: Darcy (Rob) Quimby, of Palm Desert, California, Priscilla Quimby, California.

Preceding Denise in death were her parents.
