Donna was born on January 6, 1938 to Donavon and Elnora Showalter in Moscow, Ia. She married Donald Wagner on June 9, 1955 in Wilton, Ia. Donna was a woman whose life was centered around love, family, and simple joys. She loved camping, traveling, taking cruises and spending time surrounded by the people she cared about most. Her family meant everything to her, and she treasured every moment shared with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also had a special love for her cats and found peace and happiness in painting where she expressed her creativity and gentle spirit.
Donna will always be remembered for her sweet and kind personality. She had a warm heart and a beautiful smile that could brighten anyone’s day. Her kindness, strength, and loving nature left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her five children, Pamela Milewski of Altoona, IA, Terry (Deb) Wagner of Clarence, IA, Sandra (John) Dietrich of Clive IA, Deborah (Kevin) Wilson of Stuart, FL, and Susan Wagner of Creston, IA.
Twelve grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Wagner, her parents Donavon and Elnora Showalter, son-in-law William Milewski and in-laws Harry and Twyla Wagner.
Though she is no longer with us, her love, her smile, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
