Erin Bierle

Erin Michelle Bierle, 41 of Madison Lake, Minnesota, formerly of Cromwell, Iowa passed away at her home on Friday, July 14, 2023. Funeral Services led by Reverend Mary O’Riley, will be11:00 AM, Monday, July 24, 2023 at Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center of Creston, Iowa. Open visitation from 2-6 PM, Sunday with family receiving friends 4-6 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Erin Bierle Fund, to be used for her grandson Tommy’s Education Fund. The family has requested you wear bright colors.

Erin Michelle Bierle, the daughter of Robert (Debbie) Bierle and Roberta Landers, was born in Excelsior Springs, Missouri on August 26, 1981. The family moved between Missouri and Iowa when Erin was younger, settling in Creston, Iowa. Erin graduated from Creston High School with the class of 1999. Erin chose to work in the field of property management for 23 years throughout the Kansas City, Des Moines area.

In October 2001, Erin married Tony Lanteri in Kansas City. Together the couple was blessed with a child, Myah Lanteri. Erin and Tony later divorced in 2006. Later in 2011 Erin married Eric Millslagle and was blessed with two bonus sons, Gunnar Millslagle and Gavin Millslagle. Erin and Eric divorced in May of 2023.

In 2023 Erin was blessed with her first grandchild, Tommy Chapman. Erin was beyond excited to become a grandmother, she loved Tommy so incredibly much, he became her screensaver on her phone from the moment he was born. Erin was a very social, big hearted, great person who loved hard and deep. Erin always put her family and friends first.

Left to cherish Erin’s memory are here children: Myah Lanteri (Sam) of Ames, IA; sons, Gunnar Millslagle and Gavin Millslagle of Creston; one grandson: Thomas Chapman of Ames, IA; her parents, Robert (Debbie) Bierle of Ankeny, IA and Roberta Landers of Winterset IA; her siblings: Rhea (Reed) Hemish of Mankato ,MN; Kara (Jeff) Sweere of Madison Lake, MN; Reid (Juila) Bierle of Mason City, IA; Amber Landers of Kansas City, MO; Jessica (Mike) Landers of Winterset, IA; and Ben (Natalie) Landers of Portland, OR., and many nieces and nephews.

Erin was preceded in death by her stepfather, Mick Landers; grandparents Roy and Wilma Bierle.
