Galen was raised and educated in Corning and graduated from Corning High School with the Class of 1984. Soon after graduation, Galen began working for Happy Hollow Country Club, where he was a Dishwasher for 18 years, from 1984 - 2011. He also worked at the Radio Shack in Corning for several years. Galen was an avid fan of Hot Rod vehicles, movies and music. Galen never married and lived his entire life in the Corning and Adams County area.
