John Grant Saxton

John Grant Saxton Jr. was born on April 21, 1959 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. John passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at his home in Prescott, Iowa at the age of fifty-one years and eleven months.
John attended and graduated from Shawnee High School in Medford, New Jersey. Following high school, John entered into the National Guard Reserve, serving our country honorably for four years. On August 14, 1982, John was united in marriage to Lillian Ruth Inman in Tabernacle, New Jersey and one daughter was born to bless this union, Lorraine Grace.
John was a clerk, employed by Acme Markets in New Jersey, retiring in 2003. Following retirement, John and Lillian moved to Prescott, Iowa where John became a truck driver for Henningsen Construction.
John enjoyed riding his motorcycle and woodworking. He was also a computer enthusiast.
Left to cherish John’s memory is his loving wife, Lillian Saxton of Prescott, Iowa; daughter, Lorraine Saxton (husband Dr. James Kearns) of Chicago, Illinois; brother-in-law, Jack Inman of New Jersey; brother-in-law, Francis Inman of Virginia; sister-in-law, Margaret (husband Carl) Kasperitis.
John was preceded in death by his father, John Saxton Sr.
