Justin Miller

Justin Dean Miller, 49 of Lenox, Iowa passed away Friday, June 12, 2026 in Lenox, Iowa. He was born on Easter morning April 10, 1977 at Rosary Hospital in Corning, Iowa. Justin was the son of Randall Dean and Alma Marlene (Sandstrom) Miller.

Justin started school in Lenox and moved to Arizona, but he would return to his roots to graduate with the class of 1995. Following graduation, Justin joined the National Guard and was sent to basic training in Georgia. Justin lived in several different towns where he was employed, holding positions in various companies. He again returned to Lenox, Iowa to work for Dalton Ag.

Justin had several hobbies ranging from Calf Roping to Trail Riding with his family and friends. He spent many hours at Wilson Lake where he enjoyed playing disc golf, fishing and just being outside in the “Great-Outdoors” with family and friends.

Justin is survived by his children: Jake Slatten of Omaha, Nebraska, Jesse Miller of Pleasant Hill, Iowa, Jarrett Miller (fiancé, Miah Roberts) of Chariton, Iowa and Julia Miller of Creston, Iowa; his mother, Marlene (Jim) Wyer of Kent, Iowa; his stepmother, Jackie Miller (significant other, Dean Dawson) of Creston, Iowa; his brother, Kelly Carlson of Lenox, Iowa; stepbrothers, Brad Fehrle of Savannah, Georgia and Tim Fehrle (Jentri Clayton) of Winterset, Iowa; along with his aunt and uncle, Sandy and Dan Miller and aunt Jolene Garey; several cousins and close friends.

Preceding Justin in death was his father, Randall Dean Miller; a sister, Kris Huber; grandparents, Don and Jean Miller; Gunnar and Viola Sandstrom; and 2 uncles, Dave Miller and Albert Sandstrom; and 2 aunts, Cindy Miller and Louise Sandstrom.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to the family, to be established at a later date. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 17, 2026 from 5-7 PM at Pearson Family Funeral Service & Cremation Center in Creston. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30am, Thursday, June 18, 2026 also at the funeral home. Justin will be inurned in the North Fairview Cemetery, Lenox, Iowa.
