Margaret Maggie Hoyt

Margaret Evelyn (Overholser) Hoyt, the daughter of Joseph and Bessie Overholser, was born in Creston, IA on April 10, 1938. She lived most of her life in Creston except for a few years when she lived in Burlington, IA. Margaret owned and operated a gas station in Creston before she began working at Bunn-O-Matic. She worked in the housekeeping department at Bunn for nearly 25 years, retiring 17 years ago in 2000.
Maggie married Harvey Jackson Hoyt, Jr., on June 27, 1993, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her hobbies included fishing and tending to her flower gardens.
Preceding Maggie in death were her parents and infant sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Harvey Hoyt, Jr., of Creston; son, Scott Grimm, Pennsylvania; stepdaughter, Christy (Steve) Lee, LaVista, NE, two stepsons, Jason Hoyt, Ft. Calhoun, NE, and Jerad (Marcie) Hoyt, Marshalltown, IA; six grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. May God grant comfort and strength to those who mourn.
