Pamela Sue Stuva (Stewart) was born on February 24, 1947 at Creston Hospital to Virgil Stuva and Doris Jensen.
Pam attended elementary school in Greenfield, Iowa and later in 1960, the family moved to Colorado where she graduated from Greeley High School in 1965.
Pam married Roger Stewart in 1967 and resided in Colorado where she had a son, Darrin in 1968 and son, Monty in 1972. Tragedy struck in 1973 when Darrin, age 5 was taken from them in an accident.
Pam and her family then moved to Alaska where they enjoyed the out-door life. She was an avid hunter and loved fishing as well. Pam enjoyed the outdoor life so much she lived off the land for a few years.
In the late 1970's, Pam moved back to Iowa to be near family and raise her son Monty. Pam worked at K-Mart in the sporting goods section for many years, while attending college. Pam had a gift for working with developmentally disabled adults for over 30 years, before she retired in 2018.
Pam will be remembered for her poetry and several creative "letters to the Editor" at her local newspaper. Pam had a fun-loving, nurturing personality and was a very special lady who also had a great sense of humor. She made many friends throughout her life.
Pam passed away on July, 22 2021 in Indianola at the Good Samaritan Society. She will be deeply missed by all those who loved her.
Pam was preceded in death by her son, Darrin Stewart; former husband Roger; her mother, Doris; her Grandparents: Arthur and Jennie Jenson; grandparents: Floyd and Jeanetta Stuva; and her Uncle, Don Stuva.
Pam is survived by her Son Monty (Bobby) Stewart; grandchildren: Emily and Darrin of Indianola, Iowa; father, Virgil (Pat) Stuva of New Castle, Oklahoma; sister, Ruth Page of Goleta, California; niece, Tondi Page of Santa Barbara, California; great nephew, Eli Medina and great niece, Diandra Medina of Santa Barbara, California; niece, Sydne (Mike) Keller of Santa Barbara, California; sister, Kim Morales of Perry, Iowa; niece, Breann (Jerimy) Wickson and great nephew Jax, of Las Vegas Nevada; nephew, Marcus Schmitz of Perry, Iowa; sister, Becky (Steve) McCann of Greenfield, Iowa; niece, Shiann (Derek) Swanson and son Desmond of Waukee, Iowa; nephew, Jesse (Amber) McCann and children of Greenfield, Iowa; niece, Erinn McCann of W. Des Moines, Iowa; aunt, Patty Arterburn of Greenfield, Iowa; uncle, Dick (Donna) Stuva of Sterling, Colorado; step-sister, Gina (Larry) Turner of Oklahoma.
