Roberta Ambrose

Roberta Katherine Ambrose, the daughter of John Robert and Cora Cecil (Powers) Ambrose, was born on May 11, 1917 in Kent, Iowa. Roberta entered eternal rest on September 3, 2016, at the Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston, at the age of ninety-nine years, three months, and twenty-three days.
Roberta lived her entire life in Union County. She attended grade school in Kent and graduated from Creston High School in 1937. Following graduation Roberta began her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Holy Spirt Catholic Church in Creston, where she performed many roles. Roberta was a member of the Greater Community Hospital Auxiliary, and the Council of Catholic Women. She also enjoyed knitting.
Left to cherish Roberta’s memory are her many Friends.
