Sandra Ketchum

Sandra Lee Ketchum, daughter of Grant Paul and Bernice Mae (Lee) Blaisure, was born on March 24, 1947 in Johnson City, New York. Sandra went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the Corning Nursing and Rehab Center in Corning, Iowa at the age of sixty-six years, ten months and eleven days.
Sandy attended Newark Valley High School and graduated with the Class of 1965. On January 1, 1977, Sandy was united in marriage to David Arthur Ketchum in Richford, New York.
Throughout most of Sandy’s life she worked as a secretary in New York, Vermont, Florida and Iowa. She worked for the Iowa Workforce Development in Corning, Iowa for many years.
Some of Sandy’s hobbies included crafts, reading, computer games and helping others. Sandy attended church at Lifetime In Christ Ministries and enjoyed church activities. Sandy was most proud of her cats and her flowers she would raise and tend to.
Left to cherish Sandy’s memory is her brother, Warren (Mary Jane) Blaisure of Corning, Iowa and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Ketchum in 2004 and brother, Rodger L. Blaisure.
