Tim Hanlon

Timothy Michael Hanlon, 64, of Lenox, Iowa entered eternal rest and Heaven gained a special angel on February 15, 2024.  Timothy was born September 1, 1959 in Pikeville, Kentucky the son of Robert and Sylvia Schroeder.  Tim was educated in Pikeville and began working at an early age to help support his family.

In 1985, Tim married Elaine Stamper in Santa Cruz, California and 2 daughters were born to this union:  Melisa and Vanessa.  The couple later divorced.  Over the years, Tim worked in various factories until becoming disabled in 1998.  Timothy met Richard Lee Hanlon in November 1995 and the two were united in marriage on October 5, 2013 in Tacomah, Washington.

Tim was the most loving, caring, genuine human being we have ever met. His family was his pride and joy.  He would spend his days bringing joy and laughter to others. He had such great energy and always wanted to make others smile.  He was all around a great husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed. His Legacy will forever be here in our hearts, this isn’t goodbye this is see ya later. 

Tim is survived by his husband, Richard Hanlon of Lenox, Iowa; daughters:  Melisa (Jon) Schroeder of Clearfield, Iowa and Vanessa (Tyler) Jackson of Lenox, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; brother, Jeff (Holly) Hughes of Kirksville, Missouri; sister-in-law, Donna Hanlon of Orange, Texas; and sister-in-law, Jackie (Bob) Wesley of Turpin, Oklahoma.

Preceding Tim in death was his parents; sister, Theresa; 2 brothers:  Mark and Tony; and brother-in-law, David Hanlon.
