William L. Dudley

William “Bill” Dudley was born to Bertha May (Davis) and Clyde Earl Dudley on July 24, 1918, in Jolliett, Illinois. Bill entered eternal rest on February 13, 2006, at Greater Regional Medical Center in Creston at the age of eighty-seven years, six months, and twenty-three days.
During WW II, Bill worked at a bomb plant in Yackima, Washington. Bill lived in the Mexico, Missouri, area prior to moving to Creston in 1946. On April 10, 1947, he married Ruby Vera Hailey in Mexico, Missouri. Bill was self-employed; he owned a waste management business from 1959-1973. Following his retirement in 1973, he helped his wife Ruby with the Pekingnese Dog Kennel.
Bill was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Creston.

Preceding Bill in death were his Parents; wife Ruby on July 12, 2005; Three Brothers: Bobby Lee; Clyde “Bud”; and Ted; and one sister: Rosie Copeland.
